Travel the "Paths of the Caucasus" on a balanced 15-day journey that harmonizes mountain exploration with coastal pleasure and cultural richness. This itinerary is the ideal choice for those who want to see the Black Sea and the main regions of Georgia and Armenia, but prefer a slightly more relaxed pace, skipping the longer and more demanding journeys to Svaneti's high mountains.

Georgia: Wine, Mountain and Sea

We will begin our adventure in the cradle of wine, Kakheti, visiting wineries and monasteries. We will head north along the Military Highway to the Gergeti Trinity Church in Kazbegi, enjoying alpine views. The route flows westward, allowing us to discover the Martvili canyons before arriving at the vibrant city of Batumi. There, modern architecture, the botanical garden and the promenade offer a perfect counterpoint to ancient history, allowing a couple of days of relaxation by the sea.

Armenia: Stone and Tradition

The journey continues south, crossing into Armenia through dramatically changing landscapes. We will explore Armenia's second city, Gyumri, famous for its humor and black tuff architecture. We will venture into the capital, Yerevan, to discover its surrounding treasures: the Garni temple, Geghard monastery and Echmiadzin cathedral. We will also visit Lake Sevan and the forested Dilijan region. "Paths of the Caucasus" offers a complete panoramic vision, combining green nature, blue coast and Armenia's reddish stone architecture.
