Day 1: Transfer from Baku Airport to Baku

We will transfer from the airport to the hotel with the assistance of our guide, who will accompany you throughout the journey.

Day 2: Baku - Absheron - Baku

After enjoying a complete breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our immersive exploration of historic Baku visiting the Palace of the Shirvanshahs. This medieval complex, jewel of the Old City and World Heritage Site, will allow us to travel back in time through its exquisite architecture. Next, we will connect with the mystical essence of the country at Ateshgah, the ancient Zoroastrian fire temple, whose eternal flames are fed by natural gas. Following the trail of the legendary "Land of Fire," we will marvel at Yanardag, the famous perpetually burning mountain. The architectural contrast will arrive as we head to the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, a masterpiece of avant-garde design created by Zaha Hadid. To cap off a day full of diversity, we will immerse ourselves in the authenticity of Yashil Bazaar.

Day 3: Baku - Gobustan - Baku

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on a fascinating excursion into the past at the Gobustan Reserve, an open-air museum declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, we will marvel at an impressive collection of petroglyphs dating back 40,000 years. The adventure continues as we venture into the area of the Mud Volcanoes, a unique geological phenomenon where Azerbaijan concentrates a large portion of those existing in the world. Returning to the capital, we will culminate this cultural day visiting the iconic Carpet Museum in Baku.

Day 4: Baku - Shamakhi - Sheki

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will begin our route immersing ourselves in the mysticism of the Diri Baba Mausoleum. This fascinating 15th-century monument, partially carved into a cliff, will surprise us with its unique fusion of Islamic architecture and wild nature. Next, we will travel to historic Shemakha to discover the Seven Domes Mausoleum (Yeddi Gumbez). The day will reach its peak upon arriving in Sheki, where we will visit the exquisite Khan's Summer Palace with its famous colored glass windows ("Shebeke"). Finally, we will explore the Albanian Church of Kish, considered one of the oldest Christian temples in the Caucasus.

Day 5: Sheki - Lagodekhi - Sighnaghi - Tbilisi

We will bid farewell to the cultural richness of Sheki to head towards the Lagodekhi border post. After completing immigration procedures and entering Georgia, we will travel through wine landscapes to reach the charming city of Sighnaghi. Popularly known as the "City of Love," it will captivate us with its cobblestone streets, houses with carved wooden balconies, and its impressive 18th-century wall. We will continue our final journey to Tbilisi.

Day 6: Tbilisi - Guided Tour

We will begin our cultural immersion on vibrant Rustaveli Avenue, the beating heart of Tbilisi. We will admire architectural gems such as the imposing Parliament and the Neo-Moorish Opera Theater. Our tour will take us to Metekhi Square, where the historic church and the equestrian statue of King Vakhtang Gorgasali will give us privileged views over the Mtkvari River. We will take the cable car up to Narikala Fortress, venture into the picturesque Abanotubani district, and visit the Anchiskhati Basilica, the oldest church in the city.

Day 7: Tbilisi - Sadakhlo - Haghpat - Saghmosavank - Yerevan

We will bid farewell to Tbilisi to head south towards the Sadakhlo border post. After completing immigration procedures and entering Armenia, our first major stop will be Haghpat Monastery, a masterpiece of medieval architecture declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will continue to Saghmosavank Monastery (Monastery of Psalms), dramatically located at the edge of the vertiginous Kasakh River Canyon. Finally, we will arrive in Yerevan.

Day 8: Yerevan - Khor Virap - Noravank - Areni Cave - Yerevan

Our first stop will be Khor Virap Monastery, a place of deep spirituality where the story of St. Gregory the Illuminator comes alive before the most spectacular and close view of the biblical Mount Ararat. We will continue to Noravank Monastery, a 13th-century architectural jewel surrounded by red cliffs. Before returning, we will explore the fascinating Areni Cave, where the world's oldest winery was discovered, over 6,000 years old.

Day 9: Yerevan - Sevan - Dilijan - Goshavank - Sadakhlo - Tbilisi

We will begin with the majesty of Lake Sevan, known as Armenia's "blue pearl." The landscape will transform as we enter the lush forests of Dilijan National Park, a region nicknamed "Little Switzerland." We will visit Goshavank monastery, an impressive medieval complex. We will continue to the border at Sadakhlo to cross into Georgia and finally arrive in Tbilisi.

Day 10: Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Uplistsikhe - Gori - Kutaisi

We will visit Mtskheta, Georgia's ancient capital and religious center, with Jvari Monastery and the sacred Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, World Heritage Sites. We will continue to Uplistsikhe, an impressive rock-hewn city from the Iron Age. We will visit the Stalin Museum in Gori before continuing to Kutaisi.

We will embark on the journey to the remote Svaneti region to reach Ushguli, recognized as one of the highest inhabited settlements in Europe (2,200 meters). This group of villages, a World Heritage Site, seems frozen in time with its dozens of medieval defensive towers under the imposing shadow of Mount Shkhara. We will finish in Mestia.

But the journey doesn't stop there; we will continue south to Georgia to visit the impressive cave city of Vardzia and the Rabati fortress.

Deep Armenia

The journey delves deeply into Armenia. Unlike other tours, this itinerary includes visits to the south of the country, such as Khor Virap monastery with its iconic views of Mount Ararat and the Areni wine region with Noravank monastery. We will also explore Lake Sevan and the forested region of Dilijan, returning to Georgia to finish the trip.
