Itinerary

DAY 1: Tbilisi - Sadakhlo - Haghpat - Saghmosavank - Yerevan

Departure from Tbilisi to the Sadakhlo border crossing. After immigration procedures, we visit Haghpat Monastery, UNESCO World Heritage Site, exploring its ancient gavits and historic atmosphere. We continue to the Aragatsotn region to visit Saghmosavank Monastery (Monastery of Psalms), dramatically located at the edge of the Kasakh River Canyon. Arrival in Yerevan.

DAY 2: Yerevan - Garni - Geghard

City tour of Yerevan, one of the world's oldest cities, visiting Republic Square and the Cascade art complex with panoramic views. Excursion to Garni Temple, a Hellenistic archaeological gem from the 1st century, with the impressive basalt formations "Symphony of Stones." We conclude at Geghard Monastery, UNESCO Heritage, partially carved into rock with breathtaking acoustics.

DAY 3: Yerevan - Tsitsernakaberd - Echmiadzin - Zvartnots

Excursion to Echmiadzin, Holy See of the Armenian Apostolic Church with its cathedral, considered the oldest Christian church in the world. DAY 4: Yerevan - Sevan - Dilijan - Goshavank - Sadakhlo - Tbilisi

Journey north visiting Lake Sevan, Armenia's "blue pearl." We continue through the forests of Dilijan National Park, the "Little Switzerland," visiting Goshavank Monastery, a medieval complex founded by scholar Mkhitar Gosh. Border crossing at Sadakhlo and arrival in Tbilisi.

The trip also includes a tour of Yerevan city and a visit to the moving Genocide Memorial. The return to Georgia is through the picturesque Dilijan region, allowing you to enjoy the landscape diversity that separates these two sister nations.
