Yerevan: History and Life

The vibrant city of Yerevan will be our starting and ending point. We will have the opportunity to visit the moving Armenian Genocide Memorial (Tsitsernakaberd) and enjoy views from Victory Park. Daily excursions will take us to discover the surrounding treasures, starting with the essential duo of Garni and Geghard. Here, the majesty of the pagan temple and the mystique of the rock-hewn monastery combine with the spectacular landscape of the Azat River canyon.

Spirituality and the "Armenian Switzerland"

The journey deepens into the country's religious identity with a visit to Echmiadzin, seat of the Catholicos of All Armenians, and the circular ruins of Zvartnots, where architecture defies time against Mount Ararat. But what truly distinguishes this trip is the dedication to nature.

We will travel north through changing landscapes until reaching Lake Sevan, the "pearl of Armenia." We will climb the steps to Sevanavank monastery for an unforgettable panoramic view. Then, we will venture into the forests of Dilijan National Park. This region, known for its healing air and alpine landscapes, houses hidden monasteries like Haghartsin or Goshavank, surrounded by lush vegetation that contrasts with the aridity of the Ararat valley. Five days is just enough time to understand why Armenia is considered an open-air museum.
